What We Do & Who We Are
After starting out as G&M Timber, we then became Mulvany Timber and finally evolved from a logging company into an export company. We buy already cut logs from other logging and sawmill companies in Illinois and then sell the logs to several different markets. Through the help of friends within the business and a lot of research we have been able to acquire better markets than the typical logging company. For many years we could see that exporting logs to foreign sawmills was (at times) more lucrative than selling domestically. In the past two years we have finally broke into the top-secret world of exporting and have acquired several overseas contacts/markets.
